Highlights for Optimizely releases include out of the box Commerce segment definitions, improved Inline Block editing, and optimizations to Search indexing throughput.

Optimizely's (Episerver) continuous release cycle provides new features and bug fixes on a bi-weekly cadence. Out of the box audience segment definitions for Commerce

Fixed in: EPiServer.Profiles.Clients1.24.0 [ID: PROF-7781]

Newly added to VisitorIntelligence, Optimizely’s first-party data tracking and personalization tool, is a default set of filter definitions to build audience segments in Commerce.This out-of-the-box addition allows marketers to easily create audience segments based on Commerce events and profiles without the need for developer intervention.

Side panels remain active when using Inline Block editing

Fixed in: EPIServer.CMS.UI 11.34.0 [ID: CMS-18259]

With this latest update, Optimizely improved the usability of the new inline block editing functionality. When you take advantage of the quick edit features, the side panels remain active. This allows you to easily drag and drop needed pages or assets into the properties of your block without any fuss.

Allow deployments directly to web app without a slot swap

Fixed in: EPIServer.Paas.EPICloud 0.13.15 [ID: PAAS-13107]

This DXC environment update allows developers to deploy directly to the“live-slot” via the deployment API. By eliminating the need for a slot swap and warmup, the DXC now provides a faster deployment process to production for DXC customers.

Public .Net API for sending requests to queue endpoint

Fixed in: EPIServer.Find 13.4.0 [ID: FIND-8128]

Episerver Search & Navigation now can utilize Asynchronous Queues within the .NET API. By opting in to this new .Net API functionality, your development team can increase the throughput of indexing and tracking requests to Episerver Search & Navigation.

Implement TokenEx to process Authorize.net payment

Fixed in: EPiServer.Commerce 13.29.0 [ID: COM-12006]

TokenEx, which is used for processing Authorize.net payments, has been added to Order Management functionality. TokenEx protects sensitive payment information when a customer service representative selectsAuthorize.net to process a payment. The AuthorizeTokenEx payment provider is installed through a separate package. You can learn more about installing and configuring AuthorizeTokenEx here.

ReCaptcha upgraded from v2 to v3

Fixed in:EPiServer.Forms.Samples 3.7.0 [ID: AFORM-2591]

The ReCaptcha functionality within Episerver Forms has been upgraded from version 2 to version 3. ReCaptcha is used to protect forms from spam submissions by verifying that the form is being submitted by a human and is highly recommended with any forms that are on your site.
