The C2 Group has welcomed twelve new teammates to the office in 2014, bringing the C2 family up to thirty-five! Just like any proud parent, we are excited to introduce you to our new additions.
Sara Vereeke is C2’s Human Resources Specialist. Sara’s primary focus is recruiting and retaining our talented employees through sound HR practices. Most summer weekends you can find Sara and her family touring around the Silver Lake sand dunes.
Paul Shope joined us as a Content Management Specialist last winter. Paul has the important task to ensure our client’s requirements are clearly understood and that the content management solution created fulfills those expectations on every project. His focus outside of work is his 3 kids – preferably doing something in the water (swimming, kayaking, etc.)
Kelly Maichele joined C2 last winter as our Bookkeeper. As our resident number-cruncher and keeper of the books, she keeps our financial house in order. Kelly recently added to her own family with the birth of a baby boy, and works hard to make sure they continue the family tradition of loving the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Katie Troupe is back! Katie worked with us a few years back, moved to Texas for a bit, and now is back in Michigan and rejoining the team as a Video Editor. She has a passion for telling great stories and puts that passion to work volunteering in her church media department.
Kristen McCormick joined the team as CMS Sales Manager. Kristen’s role is to search out potential new customers and introduce them to the great things The C2 Group can do. Kristen enjoys spending time with family, exploring Michigan and trying out the latest and greatest restaurant in the Grand Rapids scene.
Danae Compagner is our Office Coordinator. Danae’s smiling face and bubbly personality greets you when you visit or call The C2 Group. Danae is responsible for keeping the office running and all of us caffeinated. She has a passion for great food and is an excellent source to find the best restaurants. She also is (slightly) obsessed with kitchen supplies – rumor has it that she owns 7 crock pots!
Karen Organ joined C2 this spring as a Content Management Specialist. Karen’s extensive experience in web and content management systems are a tremendous value to the team, and we already see her mad testing skills improving the quality assurance process. Karen loves her dogs; she has two boxers who are both a mix of adorable and crazy. She also has a passion for photography.
John Miller joined us as a .NET Web Developer. John is 95% talent and 5% beard, and we are excited for the addition of his capabilities to our advanced development team. He enjoys acting – his most recent role was on the cast of Jesus Christ Superstar. When he isn’t behind a computer screen or on stage, chances are you will find John out enjoying Michigan’s outdoors.
Seth Galligan is a great addition to the Client Solutions team as a Project Lead. Seth is the glue to keep projects together, coordinating project logistics, serving client needs daily, and providing his teams with the requisite Red Bull when late nights kick in. Seth has a passion for supporting local Grand Rapids businesses, a love for spending time with his family, and is a classically trained musician.
Nick Fuller joined the visual design team this spring, where he works with clients to create beautiful web experiences. He is also the primary “owner” of The C2 Group brand. He enjoys spending time building and playing guitars – he also is the alpha male in the household of three dogs.
Matt Smith brought his creative and soccer talents to C2 as our new Web Designer. He joins the team as a data visualization ninja, and leverages these black belt skills to create great looking, user-focused web sites and apps. When he is not at work you will find him working on perfecting home-brewed cider, or possibly watching/playing soccer.
Tim DeYoung spent the summer with us as a .NET Developer Intern. Tim is a full-time Music Teacher who is pursuing a new career in Programming. He loves all things musical – even teaching bassoon at the college level.
